Panthers live in the lands of southwestern Florida. In hardwood hammocks and pine forests among the swamp lands. This land The for male panthers is about 520 square km and for the female it's about 195 km. In the breeding season ther would be one male to five female's, The space needed now would be at about 1,000 - 3,000km. THATS a lot.
the panthar depens on mainly fish and dear/ wildlife. This panther is at the top of the food chain apart for humans, if the hunting of this panther continuse the dear population is going to rise making them over populated, this effect reflects on again the dead the food for them is not going be ably to maintain causing the dear to die of starvation. If the hunting stops on the panther and gose onto the dear the panther is going to aventruly run out of fish and dear to live so they will die out.
Us humans are the main thret to this spiece because of out forrest farming and also hunters wonting to skin this cat for its hide.
They have put radio collars on panthers to track their movements. this has helped track how much land is needed and how much for breeding, this has also help us understand that things need to be done or this endangered cat could soon become extinct.
